Today I decided to give a look to official-drugstore.com and do a tiny review about it. Official Drugstore is an India-based pharmacy which sells a variety of generic medications online. Strangely enough, the pharmacy’s headline is International Pharmacy, which I believe it can confuse clients. Furthermore, when I clicked on its “why us” page, the title is “Why International Pharmacy?” instead of “Why Official Drugstore?”. Again, very odd. Official Drugstore also claimed to be the number one online pharmacy on the internet, but we shall see about that.
Official Drugstore mentions their many years of experience in serving customers with very high-quality products at the best price possible. The pharmacy also states that if a client finds prices lower than what Official Drugstore offers, then they shouldn’t take those meds because there is a high chance they are manufactured by shadowy labs. Taking aside this very unprofessional note, Official Drugstore’s website mentions that all their brand and generic medications are FDA-approved.
Official Drugstore does have a good range of products to treat several medical disorders, starting from erectile dysfunction, asthma, skin care, herpes, and general health. Branded Viagra can cost in average $8.33 per pill, depending on a number of pills you buy, whereas generic Viagra can cost you around $2.43 per pill. Cialis pills can be obtained by $4.67 per pill. No prescription is needed from the customer for these meds.
Customers are able to pay their meds by using credit cards (Visa or MasterCard), e-check or Discover Network. Official Drugstore provides two delivery options – AirMail ($10) or Express Mail Service (EMS) ($30). Orders are delivered within 15 or 7 days, respectively. If contacted within 30 days from the delivery of the product, Official Drugstore is able to offer fully or partial refunds upon receiving the merchandise back.
Reaching out to Official Drugstore is not the easiest thing in the world. Clients can contact customer support by calling to their number +1(718) 340-3454, or by filling the inquiry form in Official Drugstore’s website. I tried to call them but with no response. Maybe my email will be answered more quickly.
As I said many times before, reviews are a fundamental tool to understand the store’s reputation and legitimacy. Reviews are important to evaluate the drugstore’s honesty and overall customer support. So, obviously, I did my search on Official Drugstore and I can’t say I was pleased. On Online Pharmacy Reviews website, the user cj clearly stated that Official Drugstore is a “scam”.
The customer explains that he made a small order, paid for his meds and the order was then “detained in NYC”. Even worse than that, is the fact that the company did not answer to his calls. Cj concludes his review by advising (in caps lock) future consumers to “not buy from this site”.
This is a huge red flag. We have a very upset customer who lost money and got scammed. I was already a bit preoccupied with the International Pharmacy and Official Drugstore name swap in the website, but I guess this pretty much confirms it. Until now, Official Drugstore has an illegitimate reputation.
Official-drugstore.com Reviews 2016
Facing the lack of more recent reviews, I’ve checked how well (or how badly) Official Drugstore performed in security stats analyzing tools such as Scam Adviser. The news is not good either. Scam Adviser located Official Drugstore in Russia instead of India, as they claimed to be. Moreover, the website is rarely visited and gained only a 23% trust score on Scam Adviser. Official Drugstore is considered to be unsafe and unreliable.
Legit Script shared the same opinion as Scam Adviser, labeling Official Drugstore as a rogue. I can’t event give Official Drugstore the benefit of the doubt since I found a supporting review of this fact – Official Drugstore seems to be a scam. The pharmacy does not meet the standards for internet pharmacies, which is a bit obvious since they do not require a prescription for any kind of drugs. According to most international standards, these meds are not available without a valid doctor’s prescription.
Official-drugstore.com Coupon Codes
The main banner of Official drugstore’s website advertised free delivery, which I found out to be almost a lie. Customers only have free shipping for orders above $200. Nevertheless, each order comes with free Viagra samples and extra 4 pills for every order. Having this “gift” is always welcomed, in my perspective. Additionally, consumers could have up to 15% discount on their next orders. The virtual discount on returning purchases would depend on the value spent by the client on its first purchase. For example, for orders below $100, the customer would only get 5% off in their next order.
I believe the conclusion is pretty obvious: Official Drugstore should not be trusted and there is a high risk of you getting rip-off. I don’t like to take any chances, so I would definitely go buy my erectile dysfunction drugs elsewhere without even thinking twice. First of all, the pharmacy has two names, which is always very fishy. Perhaps the pharmacy had another domain that was shut down, but this is just me speculating. Secondly, we have an actual customer who lost his money with Official Drugstore and claimed to be scammed! And the numbers and information displayed by Legit Script and Scam Adviser supports the claim. I really don’t have much more to say besides advising you to buy your meds elsewhere. Overall, I give this deceitful pharmacy a 1 out of 5.
