Everyone heard that you can save lots of money buying generics. But also, everybody knows, that buying from online pharmacies is risky and complicated. Can you avoid the risk?

In this post I will tell you how to check if a particular online pharmacy can be trusted in 3 easy steps:

Step 1: Call their support. Yes, right now.

If your call is not answered, forget about this site – it might be just one of those scammers that will disappear once they get your money.

But if there is somebody to pick up the phone, it means that this drug store really wants you to be satisfied. Keeping a call center is not cheap, and if they are paying for it, they invest in a long-term relations with customers. Most likely they will provide products of a descent quality, and even if something goes wrong – they will do their best to keep you happy, simply because they want you back. And that is what you are looking for.

Step 2: Check their site background.

Just check up their domain at If you can see that the site is doing business for a considerable amount of time (couple of years should be enough), it should be another evidence of the fact that this particular site is earning by serving customers and not fooling them.

On the other hand, there might be “new” shops that play fair with their customers, but do you really want to take the risk?

Step 3: Find reviews on the web.

Do not trust reviews and testimonials provided on the online shop itself. No doubt that reviews are moderated by the owner and they do not represent the real picture for sure.

Instead, try googling for “ scum”, “ reviews”, etc. If this site has a history of operating, someone somewhere should have complained about it. The trick is that you should not worry to much about several occasional bad reviews, as people tend to start posting only when they want to complain.

Please take into account that 1 positive authentic review of they site is worth 5 negative. So unless all of the mentions are bad, you can consider reviews as a proof of real operating of the shop. And sometimes, reading a thread about some issue you can even find out how it was solved, which is an exceptionally good sign.

So, as you can see, these are very simple things to do. If you take just a little time prior to making a first purchase from the shop you will take away 99% of the risk. And after that you’ll get a privilege of saving lots of money, buying high quality medications with confidence.

Unfortunately for today’s consumer, the number of rogue or fraudulent online pharmacies outweighs the number of reliable organizations. These companies will attempt to convince consumers that they are legitimate online pharmaceutical companies.

Shoppers need to remember, reputable pharmacies will never send SPAM emails advertising their products or services, they will never sell a controlled substance with or without a prescription, and they will never sell prescription medication without a verified physician’s prescription.
